Hospitality Sector & Leisure Activities
The Group is involved in the hospitality sector through development projects and financial investments in hotels, resorts and Real Estate Scheme (RES).
• Voile D'Or Resort & Spa
Voile D'Or Resort & Spa (5 star resort) in Bel Ombre where the Group initially owned over 75% of the equity and was also involved in its management. The resort hotel was subsequently sold to Kingdom Hotel Investment owned by the Price Alwaleed of Saudi Arabia in 2005.
• The Link Ebene Cybercity Hotel
The Group is one of the main promoters and a major shareholder in The Link Ebene Cybercity Hotel ( ex-Sheraton)endowed with 108 elegant, luxurious and supremely comfortable guest standard rooms and suites.
• La Tourelle Ocean View Residence
The Group has launched an RES Scheme project on the western coast of the island. La Tourelle Ocean View Residence comprises of 30 luxurious apartments situated on the hillside of La Tourelle du Tamarin mountain offering panoramic views of the ocean and surrounding mountains. The construction of the project has already started and the delivery of the apartments are scheduled for mid 2012. The estate is being developed in Tamarin the most valued residential land in Mauritius.
